My 5 Step Natural Skincare Routine

I have been moving towards only using natural skincare products recently and have been really enjoying the benefits. My skin feels really hydrated and healthy. Here is my night-time skincare routine (for dry sensitive skin) using all natural products.

1.Makeup Removal

Makeup removing Face Towels

These things are honestly like magic. Wet the cloth with warm water and then wipe your face. It removes all my makeup* without the use of any product or chemicals. Amazing!

*With the exception of some waterproof mascara. If that’s the case, use a little Coconut oil. I Rub the coconut oil into my lashes (making sure to keep my eyes closed) and then wipe it away with the cloth. Works like a charm.

I can’t quite find the exact same brand but click here or here for a few similar ones.

 2. Exfoliate

This Vegan Organic scrub is awesome, it’s the perfect amount of exfoliation that it feels like it’s really getting in there without it irritating your skin. The French Green Clay cleanses pores and the Argon stem cells are great for brightening the skin. It’s also Paraben, Sulfate, and Cruelty-free. You can buy it locally in Calgary at Community Natural Foods here.

Another recommendation (that’s slightly more affordable) is the Simple Smoothing Facial Scrub. This product seems to be going through some changes and hasn’t been available at most drugstores. You can find it on amazon here though. Just make sure to check the ingredients before ordering as I have read that some versions have parabens and some do not.

3. Tone

This product is fairly new to me but, I have been really enjoying using it the past two weeks. It smells beautiful, isn’t irritating and feels so nice and fresh on my face. Also, Adorn Infusions is a local Calgary company which I love supporting. You can buy it here.

4. Moisturize

100% natural and paraben free, this facial oil is very hydrating and unscented which is great for my sensitive skin.

I found this one on clearance at my local Winners/ TJMAx and I can’t find the exact same brand online but there is a similar one on Etsy here.

Origins Drink Up Overnight Mask

This mask is super hydrating. I put it on before bed and leave it on overnight. It smells great and is made without Parabens, Sulfates, and Phthalates. You can find it at Sephora here.

5. Lips

Check out my recipe here. You won’t be disappointed.

Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask

I use this stuff when I am in need of an extra moisture kick. It smells amazing, is made from food-grade ingredients and is made locally in Toronto, Canada. Love it! You can buy it at Sephora here.

Bonus Tip:

If you have any pesky pimples, put a little tea tree essential oil on it during the moisturizing step. Tea tree is a natural antibacterial and will dry the skin a little which helps it heal faster.
